Award-winning Grandview Construction & Home Designs has been designing and building one-off intricate custom homes for the past 15 years.
With the best-quality materials and trades, Grandview has completed this ultimate renovation. Managing director Shane Carvill worked very closely with the clients regarding the design elements and project management. The homeowners continued to reside within the house as the renovations proceeded, making this 'the ultimate challenge' for the company.

Achieved via zoning off a construction area one stage at a time, the existing house
was transformed from an average state into a modern, contemporary design that
focuses heavily on strong lines softened by clever landscaping.
The clients were keen to retain the home's basics, such as the general size of rooms, while injecting a modern twist on its art deco feel.
Stone work features predominantly throughout the home, inside and out, creating
an unmistakeable air of grandeur while maintaining clean, simple lines.

Externally, curved and rendered walls are juxtaposed with sharp, linear overhangs, resulting in an array of shapes and lines to keep the eye intrigued. This is continued through the interior, with a curved bulkhead giving way to a triangular window in the living area.
Luxury prevails through the bedrooms, bathrooms and ensuite, with an undeniable presence of stone and high-quality fittings and fixtures, including double shower heads and vanities, and a luxurious over-sized bathtub.
Externally, the space is divided into cleverly defined entertaining zones encompassing an alfresco, pool and spa, barbecue area, and a resort-style raised deck that takes in the rear elevation of the spectacular home.
