With experience spanning four decades, the talented designer has a special interest in creating children's bedrooms that not only delight the child but also have parent approval.
When she was approached to refresh this Dalkeith home, the brief from the owners was to bring the home to life with Hamptons-inspired furnishings, and create personalised bedrooms for the children.
Before the design took place, Doffie met with the parents and children at the home to get to know them on a personal level. After this meeting, the design was carefully created to reflect each of the family members' individual interests.
Doffie Design took care of the interior-design elements, from the styling, window treatments, upholstery, wallpaper, manchester and soft furnishings, to helping select decor pieces. Doffie even crafted quality, bespoke furniture for the bedrooms, to cater for the clients' exact requirements.
