Artworks and exhibitions at the Studio Gallery & Bistro this summer.

1 Jacinda Bayne
Temperate | $9700
Oil on canvas, 102x153cm

Artist | Jacinda Bayne is an emotive colourist, her works depicting an intertwining of memory and place. Inspired by the world around her, the works are not just her interpretation of what she sees, but also a fusion of experience, landscape and emotion.
Artwork | In Temperate, thin layers of richly coloured oil paint are used to create a glass-like surface encouraging you to look through the veils of colours to the canvas below. The combination of colour and form create a narrative of warmth, contentment and reflection. It is featured in the gallery's Christmas exhibition.

2 Laura Matthews
Gazing | $7000
Oil and spray on canvas, 100x100cm

Artist | A graduate from London's Slade School of Fine Art, Laura has received numerous accolades and awards over the years. Her work is held in many collections both national and international, including Royal Caribbean Cruise Liners, Slade Collection and more.
Artwork | Gazing is typical of Laura's incredibly spontaneous seascapes. It utilises her intense colour palette to capture the essence of the Australian oceans, yet is sensitively handled, reflecting on intimate aspects of her life in
Sydney. Gazing features in Laura's solo exhibition at the gallery in January.

3 Joanne Duffy
Estuary Gate | $5500
Mixed media on canvas, 100x180cm

Artist | Multi award-winner Joanne Duffy depicts the Australian landscape in an expressionist style. The resulting artworks are reflective, full of vitality, intense colour and emotion. They continue to be highly sought from both national and international collectors.
Artwork | Estuary Gate is a continued botanical investigation into the precious wetland and waterways that edge our coastal environment. This work is a conservation and constant reminder of nature's fragility, beauty and importance. It is featured in the gallery's Christmas exhibition.

4 Paula Weigmink
Precious Memories | $1150
Acrylic on canvas, 46x61cm

Artist | Originally from Africa, Paula now resides in Dunsborough in the southwest of Australia. She enjoys experimenting and working in a variety of media and genres, and is happiest when surrounded by nature.
Artwork | To portray everyday objects, be they new or old, takes one on a journey. Precious Memories was inspired by times past, blended with the freshness of the here and now, the constant motion of life and the memories we take with us. It is featured in the gallery's Christmas exhibition.
