Enjoy a down-south getaway in Margaret River in the comforts of a eco-friendly glamping tent. If you like the idea of the ‘great outdoors’, without having to rough it, these luxury glamping sites are perfect for a romantic getaway or whisking the kids away on a technology detox.
Two Blind Cows
Run by the Morris family, Two Blind Cows offers eco-luxe glamping at the Woolrabunning farm. Their three tents are deliberately spaced far apart to make you feel like you are in the middle of the Australian bush, complete with laughing kookaburras and native bushland.
Perfect for couples looking for a romantic, secluded getaway, there’s even a fire-pit outside each tent, made by local sculptor Nigel Lullfitkz. All the furniture and tents were made by a local carpenter, and Hannah told us that they have a fourth tent on the way to meet growing demand.
Next door to Colonial Brewery and adjacent to Cowaramup brewery, with a host of wineries and beautiful Boranup Forest just minutes down the road, it’s perfect for anyone looking to experience the rich food and drink scene. Plus, the beach at Gracetown is just 20mins away!

Wild Goose Camping
With a design based on WWI army tents, Wild Goose has an option of 4m or 5m bell tents, sleeping up to 3 and 5 people respectively, with a single pole in the middle to hold everything up. Run by husband and wife team Chloe and Clint, unlike the other sites mentioned here, they do not have permanent structures assembled, and set up at sites across Margaret River based on your booking.
You can check in here to see what locations they’ll set up at, but Chloe hinted that the sites at the National Parks are the best ones, with the site at Jarrahdene positioned under Karri trees near an old saw mill for a truly rustic camping experience. Situated along Caves Road, the site at Conto Springs is right by the region’s many caves, including Jewel Cave and Lake Cave. If you’re really looking to go off the grid, you’re in luck!
In true glamping style, Wild Goose does all the work for you. No need to set up or put down, just arrive, relax, and enjoy. When it’s time to head home, just zip up the tent and be on your way.
“Our mission is to disconnect people and get them out into nature. It makes such a difference to mental health when you can’t pick up your phone. It’s so amazing when you can’t get signal!” Chloe emphasised.

Olio Bello Lakeside Camping
Housing six luxurious safari-style bungalows nestled beside a lake, and surrounded by 8000 olive trees, Olio Bello Lakeside Glamping offers both a relaxing and immersive experience. It’s harvest season for olives, so for the olive oil connoisseurs out there, it’s a rare opportunity to taste award-winning oil harvested and pressed onsite.
What truly makes Olio Bello different is that guests are able to wander freely through the olive grove, just as you would in Italy. It’s a unique opportunity to learn about organic farming, sample handmade gourmet produce and watch the sunset as it sweeps over the lake.
Each bungalow boasts a private en-suite, kitchenette, spacious viewing deck and bespoke interiors, with every guest receiving a special welcome gift on arrival, plus a gourmet breakfast hamper. With the chillier weather approaching, you’ll be kept cosy with indoor fires at each bungalow.
Minutes from wineries such as Vasse Felix and Cullen Wines, and just a stone’s throw away from pristine beaches at Gracetown, you’ll be well-situated to take advantage of everything the region has to offer. They also have an onsite café and shop where you can tuck into a delicious lunch and stock up on organic beauty products, so you don’t even have to leave the property to enjoy a range of experiences.

Mile End Glamping
Closer to Dunsborough, Mile End Glamping is the only glampsite in the state to feature their unique dome shape design. Their self-contained studio domes accommodate two people and are elevated off the ground to offer an incredible vantage point out over the valley.
Owner Caroline felt that the dome was the best option for the environment at the property, as they are easy to regulate temperature-wise, and have been architecturally designed using patterns found in nature. The design maximises natural light and creates closeness with the outside world.
“It’s a truly unique feeling of being inside and outside at the same time,” she described.
Complete with a four-poster canopy bed, kitchenette, and luxurious bathroom, these elevated domes are comfortable and cosy year round. Step outside on to the private deck, to your very own barbeque area and outdoor bath.
Kept intimate with only 2 domes currently onsite, they do book up quickly. Whilst they are currently booked for the next couple of months, Caroline said that they regularly post vacancies on their Facebook page, so stay tuned. If you are lucky enough to get a spot, you can book here.
Get away down south in a boho-styled glamping tent, across campsites anywhere from Busselton, Dunsborough, to Margaret River with Soul Camping. Giving you control over your stay, Soul Camping allows you to pick a glampsite from campgrounds, an abundance of holiday parks, or even your own private location. Once you pick your destination, decide on a 4m or 5m bell tent that features a queen bed, and fairy lights draped across the canopy.
Our favourite is the ultimate luxe suite, which is a glam and chic step-up from the essentials. Featuring the 'happy glamper' package, this addition includes a bar fridge and kettle, complete with tea, coffee and mugs. With many packages to tailor your experience, why not add on a chef’s package for your cooking needs, or a fire-pit to roast smores under the stars. If you’re looking for outdoor activities there is also the option to hire bikes, surfboards or stand up paddleboards.
