Scribblers Family Festival

Scribblers Family Festival

Scribblers Family Festival is an annual 2-day festival that celebrates storytelling for children and young people, bringing together global storytellers to spark curiosity and creativity. This initiative is run by FORM Building a State of Creativity and engages thousands of participants across Australia every year. This free festival is packed with activities designed to inspire young minds through storytelling, art, and hands-on workshops. Whether your child loves painting, writing, or simply exploring something new, the Scribblers Family Festival is the perfect place to spark their imagination and creativity.

In 2024 Scribblers Family Festival is on October 26th and 27th across across several iconic Perth locations, including Perth Library, Perth Town Hall, The Sound Garden at Stirling Gardens and London Court, with wheelchair access and Auslan-interpreted events available. Most of the action will be taking place at Scribblers Central at Cathedral Square along with key amenities like accessible bathrooms, water stations, and first aid. Three hours of free weekend parking will be available at select City of Perth carparks, or you can use public transport with free Sunday travel for SmartRider holders.
