Maitland-suburbs parks

Maitland, a city in New South Wales, boasts several beautiful parks for visitors to enjoy, with two notable parks being Maitland Park and Harold Gregson Park.

Maitland Park, a centrally located reserve, features Victorian period landscapes and architecture and offers various sporting opportunities such as a croquet lawn, netball courts, a hockey field, soccer, and football. Additionally, the park includes an enclosed playground designed for people with disabilities, an Olympic-size solar-heated swimming pool, children's play equipment, a café, and picnic areas, all accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Harold Gregson Park is a newly opened public space that includes a play area, basketball court, and skate park, along with amenities like barbecues, shaded areas, and toilets. This park also provides parking facilities with EV charging stations, RV and caravan parking spots. Bookable through Maitland City Council, the park will soon introduce a playtower, events lawn, and amphitheater, with a focus on accommodating individuals with access needs.
