Wombeyan Caves attractions

The Wombeyan Caves, located in the Wombeyan Karst Conservation Reserve in New South Wales, offer a remarkable and beautiful underground experience. The caves, including the Wollondilly, Junction, Kooringa, and Mulwaree caves, feature striking and delicate formations, making them a must-see attraction.

While the caves are currently closed for repairs until July, they typically offer a variety of guided tours, with the Figtree Cave being the state's premier self-guided cave experience.

In addition to the caves, the reserve provides opportunities for bushwalks, some of which lead to waterfalls and water holes for swimming. The location is easily accessible from Sydney, Canberra, and Wollongong, making it a great option for a weekend getaway.

Visitors can camp overnight, stay in cabins, or book the cozy Post Office Cottage. The reserve also offers facilities such as a cafe, picnic area, and accommodation options, including campsites and dormitories.

The Wombeyan Caves are a unique and fascinating destination for nature and adventure enthusiasts.
