Aitken's Folly Vineyard: Home to award-winning wines
Aitken's Folly is a family-run boutique vineyard located just outside the charming town of Wanaka, New Zealand, and is the perfect destination for wine lovers.
Established in 2008 by Ian and Fiona, who moved to New Zealand from the UK with their children, this vineyard produces some of the tastiest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the region.
A unique vineyard with a captivating origin story
Although the owners had no winemaking experience, their aspiration to start the vineyard did not go unrealized. They enlisted the help of James Dicey, a well-known viticulturist in New Zealand, to help them realize their dream. The story of the Aitken family, its history, and its vine growing secrets is a fascinating one, which visitors can explore during their visit.
