Alowyn Gardens

Alowyn Gardens is a beautiful seven-acre display garden located in the heart of Yarra Glen, Victoria.

The garden features seven distinct areas, each with its own seasonal displays and unique features. The landscaped plots are filled with fragrant wisteria displays, formal gardens, and a fruit and vegetable patch for tasting. Visitors can take a private tour of the gardens with internationally exhibited artist Bronwyn Ward, who will guide them through simple and achievable techniques and tasks to capture their choice of subject on the page. In addition to the gardens, Alowyn Gardens also has an extensive plant nursery where visitors can purchase plants to take home. The venue also features a cafe where visitors can enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee. The cafe is situated inside the garden and nursery and is known for its friendly service and great coffee. The food menu is fairly okay, with a focus on light meals and snacks. Visitors can also enjoy a tasting or tour at Yileena Park during their travels to Yarra Glen. Visitors can enjoy a private tour of the gardens with an artist, purchase plants from the extensive nursery, and enjoy a light meal or snack at the cafe.
