Ben and Clare Anderson believe in living amongst the environment, treadly lightly on their land. This sustainable lifestyle extends through to our philosophy for managing the vineyard and minimal intervention practices in our wine making processes.
Rather than masters of wine, we prefer to be recognized as the people who know our land the best, and we believe that mother nature is the best winemaker. Our skills and passion are then used to capture the best characteristics from our grapes and the land on which they grow into every bottle of our wine.
Cellar Door and Restaurant
Using seasonal and local Adelaide Hills produce, our head chef offers a fresh and flavoursome lunch menu. You can choose to have a casual pizza lunch, or treat yourself with some gourmet share plates. Top it off with a delicious drop of Anderson Hill wine or beer.
History
The farming history of the Anderson family dates back to the beginning of the 20th Century. To provide a better life to his family, Peter Anderson and his whole family moved from Scotland to South Australia and established a farming presence. The hard-working ethos continues in the family to this day.
