The Aramac Tramway Museum is a Grade I listed former tram stop and now a museum on Boundary Street, Aramac, Barcaldine Region, Queensland, Australia.
It was built between 1912 and 1913. It is also known as the Aramac tram stop. It was listed on the Queensland Heritage Register on November 26, 1999. History.... The Aramac Tramway Museum is located in the Aramac Tramway Station. The Aramac Tramway was built between 1912 and 1913 and funded by the Aramac Shire Council. It closed on December 31, 1975. When Queensland separated from New South Wales in 1859, the new Queensland government quickly made land available for grazing purposes and a great wave of pastoral settlements spread across western and northern Queensland in the early 1860s.
