Naarm-based WA artist Oliver Hull is bringing Confusion Matrix to Goolugatup Heathcote.
An innovative and thought-provoking exhibition composed of a weather-controlled computer simulation showing from 15 June - 28 July 2024.
Featuring a unique computer system controlled by the condensation of water inside an acrylic cube, this central piece is complemented by an eclectic assemblage of components including windchimes, precision automated manufacturing parts, mood rings, antennas, and cooling systems from personal gaming computers.
In a statement on the ways we interpret the world through representations and measurements, Oliver Hull invites audiences to reflect on how we process the world through representations and measurements, and the limits of where these technologies break down.
