Description
The Shaws Road vineyard is situated high on a hill with magnificent views over the Strathewen valley through to the Great Dividing Ranges at Kinglake.
THE VINEYARD
We have 19 acres (7.5 hectares) under vine across three vineyards. There is a very small one-acre vineyard in the middle of Eltham (near the Butterfly farm) and two large vineyards located in Arthurs Creek and Strathewen respectively.
Their vineyards and those of a number of their neighbours are managed by Apteds Farm Service.
CELLAR DOOR & TASTINGS
All their current release wines are available for sale at their Cellar Door at Shaws Road Winery, which is open every Saturday and Sunday from 11.00am - 5.00pm
There are always Cellar Door specials available, which include unlabelled wines, cellar clearance specials and oddments (small numbers of bottles of old vintages).
Purchase of a dozen or more bottles (single varietal or mixed choice) attracts an immediate 10% discount.
