Description

The Goldfields Track in Ballarat, Australia is a 210km trail that links the gold rush era towns of Ballarat, Creswick, Daylesford, and Castlemaine to Bendigo. It is the longest shared-use track in Victoria and offers a range of experiences for both hikers and cyclists. The trail has three shorter sections: the Wallaby Track (90km), the Dry Diggings Track (61km), and the Leanganook Track (58km).

The best time to visit is during spring and autumn, and getting to the starting point of Ballarat can be done by flying into Melbourne Airport and then driving or taking public transportation.
