Description

Located in the southern coast of New South Wales is Bawley Beach, a breathtaking location surrounded by the lush greenery of Bawley Point.

Protected by the large southern headland of Bawley Point, this pristine beach boasts of two popular surf breaks that attract surfers and bodyboarders from all over.

The two surf breaks near Bawley Beach are popular with surfers, and visitors can also try their hand at bodyboarding at the Guillotines surf break near the jetty. In the northern-protected side of Bawley Point, visitors can find a boat ramp that serves as an excellent launch pad for fishing and paddling.

Near the beach lies the Bawley Point Reserve, featuring various amenities that both locals and tourists can enjoy. The reserve has a picnic area where visitors can set up and enjoy a lovely afternoon under the sun. Right beside the picnic area is a children's playground where the little ones can have fun exploring.

The Bawley Point Reserve offers visitors the convenience of having access to public toilets during their visit, including an accessible toilet for individuals with disabilities.

Bawley Beach is an excellent destination for beachgoers in summer. The beach is ideal for both swimmers and surfers during this time since the water temperature can reach about 22-23°C (72-73°F). If you're looking to avoid the summer crowds, planning a visit in autumn or spring is also a great option since the weather is still mild.
