Description

Bella Vista Farm Park is a heritage-listed farm located in the Hills District of Greater Western Sydney.

It covers 55 hectares of land and offers a glimpse into the area's past through its preserved homestead and old farm buildings. The farm was originally owned by Joseph Foveaux and later sold to John Macarthur, who used it for sheep breeding. The Pearce family eventually acquired part of the land and it became known as Bella Vista. The farm is now owned by The Hills Shire Council and is a popular destination for visitors.

Bella Vista has several heritage-listed sites, including the homestead and Pearce Family Cemetery. The area is also home to the Norwest Business Park, which houses Fortune 500 companies, shopping centers, high-rise buildings, and recreational spaces. The Norwest Business Park is the largest commercial area in Bella Vista and features a mix of retail, commercial, industrial, and hotel developments.

According to the 2016 census, Bella Vista has a population of 7,837 residents. The most common countries of birth for residents are India, China, Sri Lanka, England, and the Philippines. English, Mandarin, Hindi, Tamil, Cantonese, and Punjabi are the most commonly spoken languages in the area.

Bella Vista is well-connected in terms of transportation. It is located near the Sydney M2 motorway and is close to major north-south transport routes such as the Cumberland Highway and the Westlink M7. The area is served by two railway stations, Bella Vista and Norwest, which provide access to the Sydney Metro Northwest line.
