Description

RSL Anzac Park Biloela is a memorial park located at 94 Callide Street, Biloela, in Central Queensland.

It is owned by the Biloela RSL Sub-Branch and serves as a popular destination for ex-service personnel and the general public. The park features a unique Cenotaph and parkland surroundings, with continual updates and improvements being made.

The Biloela ANZAC Memorial Club offers various services and amenities. Visitors can stay updated on news and events by following the club on Facebook. The club also provides bistro services, with lunch available Tuesday through Saturday from 12pm - 2pm, and dinner from 6pm - 8pm. Additionally, there is a cafe that serves hot beverages daily from 11am till late and offers free Wi-Fi. The Gaming Room is home to the largest selection of the latest gaming machines in Biloela, along with Keno, Raffles, Reward Points, and the RSL Sub-Branch Office.

The Biloela RSL Sub-Branch, founded in 1927, plays an integral role in the community. It provides assistance, social connections, and support to local ex-service men and women. The sub-branch also assists local associations with donations, particularly schools and the local Army Cadet Unit.

The sub-branch office is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM, staffed by a part-time secretary. Recently bereaved families can receive assistance in planning an RSL Poppy Service for a departed veteran’s funeral, and Veteran’s enquiries can be directed to the Welfare Officer in Rockhampton.
