Kuranda Scenic Railway

I am excited to explore the Kuranda Scenic Railway, a journey filled with amazing sights of the World Heritage Listed rainforest and steep ravines.

Built between 1882 and 1891, this railway is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the pioneers of tropical North Queensland. The journey includes 15 hand-made tunnels and 37 bridges, offering a unique and unforgettable experience. As I make my way from Cairns to the village in the rainforest, I am filled with anticipation for the adventure ahead.
