The Oasis Dive Site in Cairns, near Milln Reef, offers divers of all levels the opportunity to explore shallow coral gardens or deeper bommies.
Known for its diverse marine life and clear waters, the site is home to a variety of marine creatures such as turtles, stingrays, and moray eels. The bommies, rising from 20 to 30 meters, are adorned with beautiful whip corals, soft corals, and gorgonians, attracting large fish like barracuda, trevally, sweetlips, mackerel, and batfish. The best time to visit is from June to October, during the dry season, when water visibility is at its best. The Oasis Dive Site is accessible through various dive tour operators based in Cairns, with boat transfers, equipment rental, and dive guides available.
