Description

Hull River National Park is an expansive national park located in North Queensland, Australia.

Spanning approximately 3,240 hectares, it is a crucial part of the Coastal Wet Tropics Important Bird Area. The region is known for its tropical climate and receives an average of 3,600 mm of rainfall per year.

The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, with 267 species of animals and 522 species of plants. Visitors can encounter lizards, birds, mammals, and snakes as they explore the estuarine mangroves and swamp forests dominated by Melaleuca and specialist Eucalypt species.

Within the park grounds, visitors can also explore the remains of the former Hull River Aboriginal Settlement, providing insight into the area's history and the traditional owners of the land.
