Description

Pack a picnic and explore the coast! The Coronet Bay to Corinella walk is a coastal trail that travels through She Oaks and Coastal Banksia, with stunning views of Western Port's cliffs and coastlines.

Along the way, you'll discover a small wetland area that is home to a variety of waterbirds.

The starting point for this walk is located at Norsemens Road in Coronet Bay, while the end point is Palmer Street in Corinella. The trail is 7.9 kilometers long and is suitable for both hiking and walking.

The track difficulty is easy, with an uphill section near Settlement Point. The track surface is compacted granitic sand, and there are no public toilets available along the trail. There are car parks (unsealed) available at Norsemens Road in Coronet Bay and Settlement Point in Corinella. Wheelchairs and prams are suitable for the trail, and dogs are allowed on a lead. There is one picnic table available, but BBQ facilities are not provided.

The Corinella to Coronet Bay Coastal Walk is an out-and-back trail that takes around 1 hour and 34 minutes to complete. The track begins at Smythe Street and takes you to Settlement Point before heading southeast along the coastline. The trail offers beautiful views of French Island and Phillip Island, as well as a mix of beaches, cliffs, and mangroves. The path itself is a varied dirt, gravel, sand, and boardwalk sections. Please be mindful of snakes sunning on the pathway.
