At the start of the track, you will come across the largest recorded watergum tree in the state. As the route follows the creek, you will also spot various rainforest trees and a wide range of interesting plant and wildlife, making it perfect for nature photographers and bird watchers.

The highlight of the walk is the spectacular Potoroo Falls, which is a popular swimming spot for visitors. The crystal-clear waters of the swimming hole are perfect for a refreshing dip during the hot summer months. The Potoroo Falls Walk is easily accessible by car. To get there, take the Kempsey exit on the Pacific Highway and follow the signs to the turnoff to Dingo Tops or Pipers Lookout. Follow the dirt road for approximately 14 kilometres until you reach the Dingo Tops campground. From here, the walk to Potoroo Falls begins
