The Federation Cliff Walk, located in Dover Heights, offers a picturesque walkway with stunning sea views over the Pacific Ocean.

Spanning five kilometres, the trail provides breathtaking views of the Sydney Harbour, beautiful landscapes, and majestic sandstone cliffs.

Starting from Raleigh Reserve in Dover Heights, visitors can admire the Macquarie Lighthouse, enjoy parklands, and be amazed by the scenic beauty of the sandstone cliffs. The trail offers crystal clear views of the Pacific Ocean, making it a perfect spot for photographers to capture dramatic vistas and postcard-perfect landscapes.

Continuing another two kilometres from the end of the walk, visitors can indulge in awe-inspiring views of the Sydney Harbour from Watsons Bay. Robertson Park offers a shaded spot for a seafood lunch, or visitors can spend time at the pub in Watsons Bay, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere.

Enroute, visitors can marvel at the dramatic views of The Gap, a deep-water ocean cliff at the entrance to Sydney Harbour. The sound of powerful waves crashing against the sandstone cliffs creates a symphony of nature. Raleigh Reserve showcases 80-metre sandstone cliffs, allowing visitors to appreciate the sheer magnitude of the rock formation.

The Federation Cliff Walk is open throughout the year, but the best time to visit is during the summer season (December to February) to fully enjoy the beauty of the NSW coastline without rain hindrances.

To reach the walkway, visitors can take public transport by hopping on the 386, 387, or 389 bus from Circular Quay to North Bondi. They can also take a train to Bondi Junction and change for a bus heading to Dover Heights. Alternatively, a 15-minute drive from the Sydney Harbour Bridge is another option. Ample parking
