UK shoegaze pioneers RIDE have just announced that they will be touring through Australia and New Zealand this August, supported by American psych-rock icons Mercury Rev!
Touring their recently-released album INTERPLAY alongside a most impressive back-catalogue of classics, RIDE will return to stages across Australia –plus a show in Aotearoa– this August, bringing their beloved sounds to fans across Oceania.
A band who had been hugely responsible for one of the most important waves of British music through the ‘80s and ‘90s, RIDE’s electric on-stage chemistry is sure to capture the ears, minds and hearts of audiences down under; chaotic guitars meet excellently produced synths and melodies, as threads of psychedelic folk and electronic music weave together with ease.
