Gapsted Estate’s cellar door and restaurant showcase their award-winning wines with over 30 wines on tasting and cuisine made from fresh, local seasonal produce created to pair beautifully with their wines, all set against the backdrop of their vineyards overlooking the striking Alpine Valleys. Gapsted Estate is just minutes by car from Myrtleford, close to the popular tourist towns of Beechworth and Bright and is conveniently located on the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail.
Gapsted Estate is focused on emerging varieties such as Tempranillo, Saperavi, Alberino, Grand Manseng and Prosecco while respecting and celebrating the classic varieties of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. These varieties thrive in the cool climate of Victoria’s Alpine region while allowing the expression of our authentic personality through joyful discovery. Our ongoing commitment to wine excellence has allowed our winemaking philosophy to evolve.
