First Lights: Winthu Wangga

Illuminating the night sky, First Lights invites audiences to listen to the songs of the Winthu Wangga.

First Lights – Winthu Wangga (Wind Talk Lights) is a drone light and sound experience that tells the many stories of the wind as it flows and connects across Yamatji lands from inland to the sea. Created by acclaimed Yamatji poet Dr Charmaine Papertalk Green with artist Nicole Dickerson, First Lights – Winthu Wangga will see a fleet of nearly 200 drones take flight across Geraldton beach.
