Description

Katandra Reserve Holgate is a nature reserve located north of Sydney along the Central Coast near Holgate and Mount Elliot on Kuring-gai land.

The reserve offers six varied walking tracks, catering to visitors of all fitness levels and interests. The tracks range from short 500 metre strolls on flat terrain up to 7km meandering trails that encounter more of the bushland this reserve has to offer.

The reserve offers a range of tracks that caters to everyone, including families wanting to go for a stroll or the more experienced hiker looking to challenge themselves. Graves Walk and Toomeys Trail is a long and challenging trail suitable for experienced walkers with a moderate level of fitness. Katandra Reserve Toomeys Track begins at Seymour Pond and takes you through lush rainforest. St Johns Lookout via Graves Walk offers gorgeous views over the reserve and surrounding landscape. Watermans Walk is a lovely and peaceful walk that takes you to Seymour Pond. Toomeys Trail Short Loop is a short hike through Katandra Reserve that's fun for the whole family. Katandra Rainforest and Ridgeway Circuit is a terrific walk through the gorgeous rainforest in Katandra Reserve.

The track is open daily from dawn to dusk, offering year-round enjoyment. The Reserve is easily accessible from Sydney via the Pacific Highway (M1).
