From there, you can take the Inskip Point barge to Fraser Island and follow the beach route along 75 Mile Beach to reach Waddy Point. It is crucial to check the tides before driving on the beach route. Additionally, permits for four-wheel drive access and camping can be obtained from the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service.
