Bay of Shoals Wines Experiences

Tucked away on the historic Reeves Farm, Bay of Shoals Vineyard offers an idyllic setting for a taste of the best of South Australia.

Established by Dr John Willoughby in 1993, the vineyard is home to some of the closest Riesling vines to the sea in the Southern Hemisphere, just 30 metres away. With 15 hectares of established vines, Bay of Shoals produces a variety of wines, including bottle fermented sparkling wines, Chardonnay, Rosé and Shiraz. The estate’s maritime climate enhances the natural fruit flavours in each variety.

When you visit, you can enjoy the spectacular views, sample the wines in the cellar door, and enjoy a delicious hamper lunch. Located just five minutes from Kingscote, Bay of Shoals is a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic Kangaroo Island experience.
