Lamberts Lookout Mackay, located on Pacific Esplanade in Slade Point, offers breathtaking panoramic views of Lamberts Beach, the Cumberland Islands, Slade Point, and the stunning Mackay coastline.

It is a popular spot to watch migrating whales breaching and playing off the coast between June and August. The lookout is also known for its sunrise and sunset views, making it a popular spot for wedding photography. Recently upgraded, it now includes interpretative signage, two dedicated viewing areas with seating, and a landmark pavilion. The lookout offers accessible parking facilities and amenities such as shaded areas, picnic tables, play equipment, and barbecues at Ram Chandra Park beside Lamberts Beach. It is open all year round and provides excellent opportunities for whale watching and sunset photography. Visitors can easily reach Lamberts Lookout by car or foot, with convenient onsite parking available.
