The Lake Street Shared Path offers a serene and peaceful environment throughout the year, but the best time to visit is in the summer when Bar Beach is patrolled seven days a week and the weather is perfect for outdoor activities. The elevated walkway starts at Rotary Park and ends at Bar Beach, with Merimbula Wharf and the Merimbula village located within a 10-15 minute walk from Rotary Park and Bar Beach, respectively. If you decide to drive to Lake Street Shared Path, parking is available at Spencer Park, Rotary Park, and Bar Beach newline.
