Cania Gorge National Park is situated 373 km northwest of Brisbane, with Monto being the nearest town. The park follows the path of Three Moon Creek, showcasing its stunning 70 m sandstone cliffs that dominate the surrounding landscape.

The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including rock wallabies, bettong, platypus, geckos, and over 90 bird species. Visitors have the opportunity to observe these animals in their natural habitats.

With over 150 species of flora, Cania Gorge National Park boasts a rich variety of environments, such as cypress pine woodland, eucalypt woodland, brigalow forest, dry rainforest, and grassland. This diversity provides unique habitats for various plant species.

The sandstone cliffs in the park also feature Aboriginal rock art, which dates back at least 19,000 years. These historic art pieces offer a glimpse into the past and highlight the enduring presence of the Aboriginal people in the area.

The picnic area, located 8 km from the Burnett Highway, provides a convenient spot for visitors to enjoy a picnic. Facilities include covered picnic tables, toilets, and gas-powered barbecues. Many of the park's walking tracks start from this area, leading to attractions such as Dripping Rock, The Overhang, and Bloodwood Cave.

For those seeking more adventure, the park's longest track leads to Giants Chair Lookout, offering panoramic views of the gorge, and Fern Tree Pool, a permanent waterhole. This 5.6 km circuit
