Pebble Beach Trail

The Pebble Beach Trail Mount Beauty is a 4km-return walk along the west branch of Kiewa River near Mount Beauty, Victoria.

The trail is stroller-friendly and takes approximately 1 hour to complete. It offers scenic beauty, cool river water for swimming, and farm fields to appreciate the beauty of nature.

The trail begins off the main Highway into town and offers views of farmland, shady groves, and riverside campers. It follows the Kiewa River as it passes through the north end of Mount Beauty. The Pebble Beach area is a calmer section of the river, but caution is advised due to strong currents and slippery rocks.

The trail is accessible all year round, with warmer months being the best time for swimming. It is a 4km-return walk from the town of Mt Beauty, starting at the corner of C531 HWY and Embankment Drive. The walk is stroller-friendly and suitable for all ages, with parking available near the starting point.

Points of interest along the trail include trail marker signage at the start, shaded areas, shared paths with cyclists, riverside campers in warmer months, and the view of Mt Bogong, Victoria's highest peak. The beach area offers a picnic spot with seating available, and the trail passes by a lake, creek, and river.
