Located on the Finke River, near the Mt Sonder Lookout in the Tjoritja / West MacDonnell National Park, the Finke 2-Mile Mount Zeil Campground is a perfect getaway for 4WD enthusiasts who prefer some privacy in a remote location.

With a distance of around 130 kilometres from Alice Springs, this campground is accessible only by 4WD vehicles.

Finke 2-Mile Mount Zeil requires visitors to be self-sufficient with their camping gear and supplies as no facilities are provided. Before setting up camp, visitors are required to book their campsites online and pay the applicable camping fees. The Finke 2-Mile Mount Zeil campground is known for its peaceful ambiance with the sounds of rustling foliage and flowing rivers being the only sounds that campers get to hear.

Finke 2-Mile Mount Zeil serves as a great base for exploring the West MacDonnell Ranges. With the area being vast and rugged, it is recommended that guests bring a 4WD vehicle to access and explore the surrounding countryside.
