Goonengerry National Park

Welcome to Goonengerry National Park! Goonengerry National Park is situated in the small village of Goonengerry, New South Wales, Australia, approximately 626 km northeast of Sydney.

The village is known for its horse riding and being home to the Goonengerry National Park. Visitors can enjoy several outdoor activities such as hiking, bird watching and horseback riding through the park's beautiful scenery.

Before the creation of the national park, this area served as a state forest. The park is now renowned for being home to various species of flora and fauna.

Goonengerry National Park is situated within the Nightcap Range Important Bird Area, identified by BirdLife International. It is home to numerous bird species, including the largest known population of Albert's lyrebirds, which can be observed by bird enthusiasts and travellers alike.
