Description

Monarto Conservation Park is a nature enthusiast's retreat located in Monarto South, just a 53 km drive southeast from Adelaide.

Spanning over 2.4 sq km, it was declared a conservation site in 1983 and is known for its regenerative efforts and famous flowering plants.

The park's eastern part is characterized by sprawling Eucalyptus trees and a variety of native plants. Bird-watching is a popular activity in the park, with many native species regularly spotted.

Monarto Conservation Park is classified as an IUCN Category III protected area, dedicated to preserving the natural habitat of its flora and fauna.

To get to the park, travelers can make a 15 km trip southwest of Murray Bridge. Once there, they can enjoy activities such as nature hikes and bird-watching, or simply take in the breathtaking panoramas.
