Albatross Musical Theatre Company (AMTC) – the company that brought The Sound of Music and Footloose to Shoalhaven audiences in 2023 – is delighted to present the exciting new musical, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Based on the world renowned book by Roald Dahl and featuring popular songs including “The Candy Man”, “Pure Imagination” and “I’ve Got A Golden Ticket”, this production will excite audiences with its array of well known characters and inspirational story.

Charlie loves inventing chocolate recipes, and wants nothing more in his rather meagre life than to win a Golden Ticket and the chance to see inside the factory of the famous Willy Wonka, Chocolatier. Follow Charlie as the Golden Tickets are won by an array of eccentric characters – but will Charlie be a lucky winner too? And what could possibly be discovered in Willy Wonka’s chocolate Factory? There is only one way to find out …
