CAST TO BRING ‘GREATEST HITS TOUR’ TO AUSTRALIA IN 2019
Due to unforseen circumstances, 90’s Britpop legends CASThave been forced to reschedule their Australian shows.
Originally set to kick off in early February, the trip down under will now be postponed until October, when fans will get the chance to hear the band’s greatest hits, plus other firm crowd favourites.
‘We were all dead excited about getting over to Australia and finally performing for our fans down under” Said John Power. “I know we’re going to want to make up for lost time and show you all what a great live band we are, so I’m expecting the band to be on fire when we get down there in October!”
Originally formed in 1992 from the ashes of two of the most legendary and lauded guitar bands of all time, The La’sand Shack, Cast released four albums, had ten top 10 singles and were described by Noel Gallagher as ‘a religious experience’ after seeing them live, before disbanding in 2001.
Their 1995 hit record ‘All Change’ became the biggest selling debut album of all timefor Polydor Records, and helped the band secure fan bases around the world. A decade after splitting, the bands original line-up reunited with original producer John Leckie (Stone Roses, Radiohead, The Fall) for their new record ‘Troubled Times’.
Tickets to the bands original shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth will still be valid, however fans that can no longer attend shows in October will be entitled to a refund.
