Excelsior Shipwreck

Excelsior Shipwreck is a historical tourist destination located in Port Adelaide, Australia.

Situated in Mutton Cove, it is one of five abandonment sites in the Port Adelaide Ships' Graveyards. The shipwreck belongs to the Excelsior steamship, built in 1897 by Gourlay Brothers of Dundee, Scotland. This steel-hulled vessel played a significant role in Port Adelaide by carrying coal to the steam-powered dredges.
