Description

The Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden is a paradise of nature and wildlife situated on the shores of Upper Spencer Gulf.

Established in 1993, the Garden covers over 250 hectares and is filled with diverse arid zone habitats, 100 species of birds, a variety of reptiles, mammals and insects. It also boasts a children's animal discovery trail, AridSmart display gardens, a visitor centre, Bluebush Cafe and AridSmart Gift and Garden Shop. At the cafe, you can enjoy a range of delicious menu options, including the famous Quandong Smoothies. The AridSmart Gift and Garden Shop allows you to take a piece of the Garden with you, with a range of AridSmart plants that will not only reduce your water bills, but also bring the beauty of Australia's plants into your garden.
