Governor Robe Wines produce a range of premium wines including Shiraz, Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Governor Robe wines are made by two very prominent wine makers in the South Australia. Peter Douglas is one of Coonawarra's most renowned and respected winemakers, he has often been referred to as 'Coonawarra's master of Cabernet'. He has tremendous experience in the district, having been chief winemaker at Wynns Coonawarra Estate for 14 years.
Peter has also travelled extensively, making wine in France, Italy, Tunisia and the Americas as well as consulting to many clients in the Limestone Coast. Peter is passionate about the Limestone Coast, including Coonawarra and Robe, and their place amongst the great wine regions of the world.
