Rose Bay to Nielsen Park Walk

The Rose Bay to Nielsen Park Walk is a scenic 1.4 km walking track that follows the shoreline between Rose Bay and Nielsen Park in Sydney Harbour National Park.

Despite being close to NSH Rd and back gardens, the track is entirely surrounded by bushland. It is a shorter section of the popular Rose Bay to Watsons Bay coastal trail and is an easy, family-friendly walk on a well-maintained path. The walk offers beautiful beaches, stunning parks, and scenic bays, with majestic views of the city and harbor, including the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The track consists of a combination of boardwalks and rough, uneven ground, with an increasing number of boardwalks. Nielsen Park, located in Vaucluse, is a popular destination with sublime views and spacious picnic areas. Hermitage Reserve, part of Sydney Harbour National Park, offers a pleasant foreshore walk from Rose Bay to Vaucluse. The walk takes visitors through bushland, coastal vegetation, secluded beaches, beautiful parks, and picturesque bays. It is easily accessible by public transport.
