Wadjemup Bidi is a series of walk trails on Rottnest Island that allow you to explore its stunning beauty.

The trail spans a total length of 45 kilometers and is divided into five sections, each with its own significant cultural and environmental landmarks. These sections are Ngank Yira Bidi, Gabbi Karniny Bidi, Wardan Nara Bidi, Karlinyah Bidi, and Ngank Wen Bidi.

Ngank Yira Bidi is a 9.4-kilometer trail that features the Bickley Battery attraction. Gabbi Karniny Bidi is a 9.7-kilometer loop trail that takes you to the salt lakes on the island. Wardan Nara Bidi is a one-way trail that leads to Salmon Bay and spans 10 kilometers. Karlinyah Bidi is a 5.9-kilometer one-way trail that allows you to experience the Northern Beaches. Ngank Wen Bidi is a 7.6-kilometer loop trail that lets you explore the West End. Most of these trails can be completed in 3-4 hours.

In addition to showcasing the island's natural beauty, the Wadjemup Bidi also tells the story of its rich history and Indigenous culture. Guides along the trail interpret the significance of the sites, providing a deeper understanding of the island's heritage.

Rottnest Island can be visited throughout the year, with summer being the most popular season. The island is accessible by a 25-minute ferry ride from Fremantle or Perth, with departure points at Fremantle, Hillarys Boat
