Shoal Bay beach is a lovely pristine beach good for swimming and guests can hire kayaks and paddleboards in the high season school holidays and at Easter. Bike hire is also available in Shoal Bay, and there are many cycle tracks leading to either Nelson Bay (3km away) and to Fingal Bay (4km away).

The apartment itself is stylish and air-conditioned, offering open plan living and dining with floorboards throughout. Guests have use of a large flat screen with Foxtel, Telstra TV, and Wifi, and from here, they have access to a balcony with a table and two chairs providing elevated filtered water views. The apartment has two separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a dishwasher, and two bathrooms. There is also another balcony off the main bedroom.

The apartment is located in a beautiful area with a selection of beautiful walking tracks in the Tomaree National Park and to the summit of Tomaree Mountain which offers spectacular views over Port Stephens and the Bay.
