Mystery Craters

Mystery Craters South Kolan is a fascinating attraction located between Bundaberg and Gin Gin.

It features 35 odd-shaped craters that have been a subject of controversy since their discovery in 1971. Visitors can explore the kiosk, enjoy light snacks, and view original photographs of the property and the craters' discovery. A walk down the path leads to a viewing tower with an informative commentary about the craters' origin. The attraction also includes a collection of pioneer memorabilia and a rock and fossil display. Mystery Craters is open from 9 am to 5 pm every day, except for Christmas Day and Good Friday. It is easily accessible by car, and parking is available onsite.
