Description

The Stansbury Walking Trail is a 6.3 km pathway along the coastline in Stansbury.

It stretches from the town jetty to Pitts Cutting, offering serene views and rest areas for visitors to enjoy.

While walking along the trail, you'll have the opportunity to see Gulf St Vincent, Port Giles Jetty, and silos. Additionally, there are adult gym equipment stations along the trail for those who want to incorporate some exercise into their walk.

The trail is divided into three stages. Stage 1 connects Foreshore Caravan Park to the town Cemetery, offering beautiful views of the Adelaide Hills and Gulf St Vincent. Stage 2 follows the foreshore from the town jetty and includes picnic areas and a playground. Stage 3 can be taken via the beach or cliff-top trail and provides elevated coastal views.

The best time to visit the Stansbury Walking Trail is during the cooler months between March and November. The trail is accessible year-round, and visitors can reach Stansbury, which is located 80 km from Adelaide on the Yorke Peninsula.
