Streaky Bay - Back Beach

Back Beach Streaky Bay is a popular surf beach for both locals and visitors due to its close proximity to the town of Streaky Bay.

It is located just 8 km from the town centre along a combined sealed and dirt road, making it easily accessible by car or bike.

The main beach area is not recommended for swimming as it is exposed to persistent higher waves and dominated by strong permanent reef-controlled rips, and in the north beach rips. Back Beach Streaky Bay is best visited during summer when the weather is warm and the water is refreshing. The beach can be enjoyed throughout the year, but swimming is not recommended during the winter months.
