Description

Grammy-nominated UK singer-songwriter Mahalia returns down under for her biggest Australian tour yet!

With 12 years of artistry and music-making under her belt, Mahalia continues to gain global attention for her R&B-pop gems and collaborations with some of music’s biggest names, including Stormzy, Burna Boy, Little Simz, JoJo, Kojey Radical and more. Through her music, including hits ‘What You Did’ (feat. Ella Mai), ‘Simmer’ (feat. Burna Boy) and ‘I Wish I Missed My Ex’, Mahalia effortlessly weaves soul, sleek 70s and contemporary R&B in one enchanting concoction.

From her breakout year in 2019, releasing her debut album Love and Compromise which quickly became a critically acclaimed introduction, Mahalia has gone on to receive numerous accolades including a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance, a Brit Award nomination for Female Solo Artist, an Ivor Novello nomination, along with winning two MOBO Awards for Best R&B/Soul Act.

Co-written and produced by fellow songstress Raye, Mahalia’s latest studio album IRL is a departure from previous releases.

Mahalia is star enough to hold her own.” – The Guardian

2023 was Mahalia’s biggest year yet, embarking on a huge sold-out UK and European tour, collaborating with legendary US pop/R&B superstar JoJo on latest single ‘Cheat’ and releasing IRL, her second record. With a live show that’s been touted as “powerful, bold and raw both vocally and emotionally.” (Epigram) and a “glittering gem” (NME) of an album under belt, watch this space as Mahalia’s star continues to rise this year.
