The Rocks Walking Tours

Since 1978, The Rocks Walking Tours has been providing students with educational tours of The Rocks.

Our qualified team of guides ensure a safe and stimulating environment in the preserved 19th century historic landscape of Sydney’s oldest neighbourhood, The Rocks. Our tours are tailored to the current syllabus and focus on the history and heritage of The Rocks, Millers Point and Circular Quay.

We offer Primary (Stage 1 – 3) and Secondary (Stage 4 – 6) school educational tours which encourage learning about our fascinating past and present heritage. Images, early photographs, maps and sketches are used to contrast past and present and stimulate the imagination. Our Educational Program is regularly reviewed to ensure relevance to the current syllabus and Key Learning Area’s (KLA) of Human Society and It’s Environment (HSIE), History, English and Religious Studies.
