Leichhardt Tree

Leichhardt Tree Taroom is a heritage-listed blazed tree located in Yaldwyn Street, Taroom, in the Shire of Banana, Queensland, Australia.

The tree is estimated to be at least 300 years old and was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992. The blaze on the tree was made in 1844 by Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig Leichhardt, a Prussian explorer, during his exploratory journey in the Northern Territory.
